Why Not Here
This is the title of my gamba duo with my favorite viol-sister Friederike Heumann. Since two gambas are definitely one of the few things that are more satisfying than one gamba, we joined our forces to blow the minds of our fellow human beings, which so far has worked quite efficiently.
The concerts are usually outstanding, we complement each other very well (she's blond and VERY beautiful) and I have hardly ever worked together with someone who intuitively understands so much of what I'm trying to do and vice cersa.
Our current program contains music by Alfonso Ferrabosco, Thomas Ford, John Jenkins, Marin Marais, Sainte Colombe and Christopher Simpson, but we do not hesitate to arrange any kind of beautiful music for the two of us.
